Jack Campisi, also known as Social Jack, is a social media, sales and client services professional currently working as a social media and interactive consultant for NewsiT, a social news gathering platform. He is overseeing their social media program, which includes strategy, content, engagement and user pilot programs geared toward improving their web site and mobile app.

Jack spent a year as a Senior Account Director for Engage121, a Social CRM platform, helping businesses organize, track and streamline their social media efforts. Clients included Maaco, Dressbarn, Century21, Edward Jones and Tasti D-Lite. Having worked in a wide variety of industries and on everything from strategy and content generation to monitoring and metrics, Jack has a broad perspective of the social media and digital marketing landscape.

He has wide-ranging experience with marketing and market research technology. He helped introduce online focus groups to the world with Greenfield Online, pioneered the use of video in market research with FocusVision and managed countless marketing software projects at the J. Brown agency and Brainloaf, a private software development shop.

Jack also currently works with a number of local businesses on marketing and social media efforts including the Market Research Association of Greater NY, Classic Sportswear and Promotions, Greenwich, CT Town Clerk Carm Budkins, Mejo Wiggin Pilates and the Cos Cobber and Aria Restaurants. 

Jack teamed up with marketing guru Stan Phelps to co-host the Purple Goldfish Project blog and video podcast. The project's goal was to gather 1001 examples of marketing lagniappe: companies that do a little something extra or go the extra mile to instill loyalty and trigger word of mouth. The highly successful project was featured at the Burning Question marketing summit in Cannes and has resulted in the book; What's Your Purple Goldfish? 

Jack is an accomplished content marketer and avid video podcaster. He developed and co-hosted the MRA Hot Seat interview series for the Market Research Assoc. of Greater NY, which helped them earn the honor of MRA Chapter of the Year 2011. He also produces and co-hosts the Monster Men video podcast with Samhain Publishing author Hunter Shea. The popular web series takes a lighthearted and humorous look at the horror and paranormal genre.
